To view MSDSs currently on order from IHS:Note: This feature is available only to administrators.
This display includes all MSDSs ordered from IHS but not yet delivered to your system. When an ordered MSDS is delivered, its entry in this list is removed if at least one of the following is true:
The delivered MSDS's identification exactly matches the MSDS entry in this list;
When the MSDS was ordered, a temporary product listing was created to serve as a place-holder until the MSDS's delivery. (In this case, the temporary MSDS is replaced by the delivered MSDS.)
To view MSDSs currently on order from IHS:
Starting at the Administration page
Under Information, click MSDSs currently on order from IHS.
The display shows a list of all MSDSs currently on order from IHS, including each MSDS's identifying details and the date when it was ordered. This list is divided into two sections:
MSDSs on order with IHS: Includes every ordered MSDS for which a temporary product listing was not created to act as a place-holder until the MSDS is delivered by IHS. When one of these MSDSs is delivered, if its identification exactly matches the identification of an MSDS listed here, this list entry is automatically removed. If the delivered MSDS does not exactly match the list entry, the entry is not automatically removed; click its Remove entry link to remove the entry manually.
MSDSs on order with IHS where a temporary MSDS exists: Includes every ordered MSDS for which a temporary product listing was created. When one of these MSDSs is delivered, it is associated with the temporary product and its entry in this list (regardless of whether they match exactly). The temporary product is automatically replaced and the list entry is automatically removed.
